Ubuntu Afro Sister Circle 2024 Program

This is a 12-week mentoring program for women of African descent who are "wellness curious”

This 12-week program is divided into 3 parts.

This program is for women who are interested in incorporating more wellness tools and spirituality into their lifestyle and want a safe space to be supported by other black women.

This group meets online via Zoom and can accommodate a maximum of 10 women.

The program will utilise therapeutic concepts and tools to enhance a courageous life.

Week 1- 4: 7th - 28th Feb

• Introduction, Setting your intention for 2024
• Word of the year (WOTY)
• Envisioning Our Ideal Life & Designing Our Best Lives
• Eliminating self-imposed limitations and setting goals aligned with our vision
• Taking steps each day toward our dreams

Break - Wed 6th March (Week off)

Week 5-8: 13th March - 3rd April

• Healing Trauma - the body keeps the score
• Childhood trauma
• Intergenerational Trauma
• Ancestral Trauma

Break - Wed 10th April (Week off)

Week 9-12: Wed 17th April - 8th May

• Reclaiming Ourselves After Hardship
• Validating our experiences of adversity
• Challenging victim mentalities and self-blame
• Setting healthy boundaries

Each session:

- will run for 90 minutes

- begin with a meditation/mindfulness process

- followed by a feelings check using the Emotional Vibration Scale

- Each woman is given time to share uninterrupted.

-30 minutes will be allocated for a different topic or tool each week.

The investment to participate in this group is $43.75 per week paid quarterly or for the full 12 weeks with a discount.

The fee includes a workbook with useful tools to manage anxiety, improve self-esteem, and create healthy relationships.

This is a group for women over 20 years old.

This is a spiritual group and women of all faiths are welcomed as long as they respect the faith of all women present.

This group is respectful of its member's sexual preferences and gender identification.
